Music for Adults

First Service Singers

An informal ensemble, usually consisting of 8-12 singers, leads the 8:45 congregation in song each week. Most of our music is unison or two-part. Rehearsal: Sunday 8:00-8:45

Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir provides choral leadership each Sunday at the 11 o’clock service.  In addition, they also participate in special events and services throughout the year. This high energy choir averages around 35 members with skill levels ranging from music-lovers to professional musicians. Repertoire is varied.
Rehearsal: Wednesday 7:00-8:30

Praise Band

The Praise Band leads our contemporary, 9 o’clock, Good News Celebration in the Great Hall. Dynamic Sunday Night Worship is led by our Youth Praise Band. If you are a singer, instrumentalist, visual artist, actor, dancer, video editor, audiovisual tech or other creative person, then this is the place for you!
Rehearsal: Thursday 7:00

Adult Handbell Choirs

This group of experienced handbell ringers plays five octaves of bells. They participate monthly in worship services as well as special programs throughout the year. Rehearsal: Monday 6:45-8:15
Classes for beginning ringers are held intermittently by request.

Instrumental Ensembles

There are opportunities for instrumentalists of all ages and skill levels to participate in worship. Let us know who you are!

Music Committee

This group supports the music program and its musicians by assisting with "non-musical" support.  Typical tasks include coordinating receptions for special events, moving equipment, helping with fund-raisers and writing “Thank-You” notes or newspaper articles.  If you love music but aren’t a practicing musician, this may be the place for you.
