Worship at First United Methodist Church
Each Sunday morning, our members and guests gather for one of three worship services and for one hour of adult Christian education and Sunday school for children and youth. Childcare is available for all worship services and during the Sunday school hour. Our Sunday morning schedule is below.

This service takes place in the sanctuary and includes all the traditional aspects of worship, including the singing of hymns, sung and spoken liturgy, the reading of scripture, a choir-led anthem, and sermon. |

9:00am Good News Celebration Service This service takes place in the Great Hall and incorporates a contemporary worship style, utilizing multi-media presentations in a more casual setting. Singing is led by the Praise Band and participants follow the service on a projected screen. |

10:00 am Sunday School for all ages Sunday school is a place to belong: a connection with persons who are searching for meaningful relationships, in an environment for spiritual renewal, and with the opportunity to grow as disciples of Jesus Christ.

11:00 am Traditional Sanctuary Worship This service in the sanctuary includes all of the aspects of traditional worship described in the Early Morning Worship Service. Music, led by the Chancel Choir, is often supplemented by use of brass, handbells, and other instruments. |

Whether it be in the quiet of our historic red-domed Sanctuary, our beautiful Chapel with its stained glass windows or as a group of believers gathered together in fellowship and contemplation, the prayer opportunities are abundant at First United Methodist Church. |
